Sharing our peer support worker best practice
We were honoured to attend an NHS Health Education England event in Leeds on 12 July.
Our Commissioning Officer and Expert by Experience Shaun Armour and Involvement Coordinator Amy Broughton represented us at the event where Shaun delivered a presentation about the things we do to create opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autistic people to use their lived experience to support others.
We received lots of great feedback about Shaun's presentation and answered lots of questions afterwards from other organisations that are interested in peer support worker roles - well done and thank you Shaun and Amy!
