Fundraise for us
Here’s how easy it is to fundraise for Your Voice Counts!
1. Decide on your fundraising event or challenge
You can do whatever you want to raise funds – a cake sale, a charity golf tournament, sky-diving, sponsored walk, or a tombola. You decide! You can do it on your own or as a team - it's up to you.
2. Set up your fundraising page
Set up an easy to do fundraising page on GivePenny. Go to https://givepenny.com and select Your Voice Counts as your charity. People can then donate to our charity through your page. Don’t worry, you can still collect offline donations and add them to your fundraising target too. To raise funds offline, just click on this link to download a sponsorship form. If you would like a sponsorship form posted out, please phone 0191 478 6472 or email mail@yvc.org.uk.
3. Spread the word.
Let everyone know that you are raising funds for us! Share it on your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts. Please tag us in all of your social media posts using @YVC_Advocacy so we can keep up to date with your fundraising!
4. Pay in the money you’ve raised
If you have set up a GivePenny page all of the donations made on it will have already come to us but not your offline donations.
To pay in offline donations you can either drop them off at our office with your sponsorship form, you can send us a cheque made payable to 'Your Voice Counts' or you can pay it in to our bank. To collect sponsorships offline, click on this link to download a sponsorship form.
5. Feel great about helping us
We are a small, local charity so every donation we receive makes a big difference to us.
