Get involved - how you can help us

We are a small, independent charity separate from funders, public bodies and other service providers.  We rely on support from our local community and corporate partners to help us to continue working with people who need us.

There are lots of ways you can support our work:

Fundraise for us

You can do whatever you want to raise funds – a cake sale, a charity golf tournament, sky-diving, sponsored walk, or a tombola. You decide! You can do it on your own or as a team - it's up to you and we're here to support you along the way.  Visit Fundraise for us to find out more.

Run for us in the Great North Run 2022

We still have places available for runners in the Great North Run on 11 September 2022.  Visit Great North Run 2022 to find out more.

Make a donation

Make a one off or regular donation to help some of the most vulnerable people in our community to improve their quality of life.

As an independent charity we do not receive government funding and are reliant on donations for our life-changing work to keep going.  Click here to make a donation.

Leave a gift in your will

Leaving a legacy in your will is one of the best ways of ensuring that we can continue our valuable work. A gift in your will, however small or large, can help ensure that Your Voice Counts will always be here for the vulnerable people we support.

We've partnered with FreeWills.co.uk to provide all our supporters with the opportunity to make their own fully comprehensive Will for free. You can make your personalised Will online in three simple steps, from the comfort of your own home and with live support from their Will specialists.  Click here to go to the Free Wills website.

Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to our work and we are particularly keen to recruit local people with local knowledge to help us grow support networks for those who are isolated. Click here for news about our current volunteering opportunities.

Corporate partnerships

By working with Your Voice Counts, not only can you help those in need, but our specialist expertise can meet your organisation’s needs too! To find out about working together, email alex.tate@yvc.org.uk.
