Our advocacy team is growing!
Your Voice Counts has been delivering advocacy services in Gateshead since 1991 and we’re looking for advocates to join our team as we develop and expand our service in the area.
We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality independent service that enables people to speak up for what they want and need, be better connected and have choice and control in their lives.
Supporting people who have different health and social care needs, we deliver a range of services, including statutory advocacy roles for people subject to the Mental Health Act, the Mental Capacity Act, the Care Act and DoLS legislation.
We have a number of opportunities on offer, including Senior and Independent Advocate roles with full time, part time and sessional working patterns available.
This is a fantastic chance to join our knowledgeable and experienced team of advocates and we’d welcome applications from both qualified advocates looking to further their careers, and people interested in a career in advocacy who are looking for an opportunity to start their journey.
We can provide training and support and have a strong track record of supporting our staff to become qualified and to develop the skills and experience they need to have a successful advocacy career.
Why Your Voice Counts?
We are committed to making Your Voice Counts a great place to work and offer a supportive and fulfilling environment for our staff team. We’re proud to offer an enhanced range of staff benefits and are an inclusive employer, welcoming applications from all community groups.
