Cooking With Confidence take on the 'Bake-A-Thon' challenge for YVC

Our weekly Cooking with Confidence sessions help people with learning disabilities to grow their skills and confidence, to develop friendships, and to be more independent by preparing their own meals at home.

The 32 group members need funding to keep their sessions going so they are taking on a huge sponsored bake-a-thon on Monday 17 October 2022.

Their target – 300 cakes baked in one day!

How your donation will help:

• £5 will pay for, cook and take home nutritious meals for 2 people

• £10 will help 2 new people to join the sessions

• £15 will pay for, cook and take home nutritious meals for 6 people

• £20 will pay for ingredients for 15 people to take part in a baking session

• £30 will pay for essential equipment that the group needs

Plus, come along to the bake sale on Tuesday 18 October, 1:00 – 3:00 at Boldon Community Association to sample the tasty cakes!
