Is mindfulness for me?
We are working with our colleagues at Skills for People to help people with learning disabilities in South Tyneside try out some free mindfulness taster sessions.
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness teaches us to cope with the stresses and anxieties life can bring and can help us feel calmer and more relaxed.
What will happen at the course?
The course is a chance for people to come together, learn more about mindfulness and see if it's for them.
It will be delivered over Zoom over four weeks and our Involvement Worker Anna Swadling will be helping people to join and take part in the group.
The sessions will happen from 10.15am to 12noon on:
