Real Living Wage

The Real Living Wage (RLW) is an optional rate of pay that organisations can choose to pay their staff – it's set at higher than both the Minimum Wage and the National Living Wage which means that RLW employers commit to paying all of their staff, no matter what job they do or how old they are, a wage that is based on the cost of living.

Making sure our staff feel valued and receive a fair wage is important to Your Voice Counts so we chose to adopt the Real Living Wage last year and have recently formalised this by joining the Living Wage Foundation who have sent us this plaque to mark our commitment.

The Real Living Wage increases every year and is due to rise again in May but our trustees chose to adopt the rise from 1 January this year so our eligible colleagues could benefit from it as soon as possible.
