We work with an organisation called the Camphill Village Trust who run a community called Larchfield near Middlesbrough.

 

We provide group advocacy to the residents there and one to one case advocacy when it’s needed. Some of the ways we’ve helped are:

• We’ve supported residents to write guidelines for their new staff about how they want to be supported

• we’ve supported residents to make complaints if they have been unhappy about something,

• we’ve helped residents make a booklet all about advocacy and how it can help.
