About the Service

The service is for people who:

• live in Gateshead

 

• are not entitled to get money from Social Services to pay for their support needs.

We are here to help people with learning difficulties find out about different services and organisations that can support them.

Our aim is to help people stay independent, have a good quality of life and prevent people from becoming isolated.

We can;

• signpost to the right organisation
• help with phone calls, letters or forms
• go with people to visit organisations and services

How to Apply for Help

You can only apply to this service if you;
Live in Gateshead
Have a learning disability
Are aged 18 and over
Cannot get money from Social Services for you support needs
